CHARACTERISTICS

Actimax Flow is an organic nutrient that provides essential factors for yeast in a balanced way. Yeast’s nutritional base relies on primary and secondary nutrients that not only promote yeast population growth but also support its vitality and viability.

The application of Actimax Flow increases the content of YAN (Yeast Assimilable Nitrogen) to an optimal level, ensuring an adequate yeast population without the need to add ammonium salts that could lead to NCR (Nitrogen Catabolic Repression). Its assimilation and storage allow yeast to consume it gradually, serving as a nitrogen reserve until the end of alcoholic fermentation.

Its formulation enables the progressive release of amino acids, strengthening subsequent generations of yeast and ensuring a more efficient and balanced fermentation process.

Additionally, Actimax Flow provides primary amino acids essential for synthesizing transport proteins and key enzymes involved in aroma formation and release.

COMPOSITION

Organic base: A blend of inactive and autolyzed yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae).

Contribution per 30 g/hL dose:

  • YAN (Yeast Assimilable Nitrogen): 28 mg/L
  • NOPA (Organic Nitrogen): 18 mg/L

USE AND APPLICATION

Use before the start of alcoholic fermentation. Especially recommended in rehydration water to provide a gradual supply of amino acids.

Recommended for:

  • Musts with moderate YAN requirements.
  • Winemaking of red grape varieties with high potential alcohol.
  • Musts for white and rosé wines fermented at low temperatures.
  • Highly clarified white musts.
  • Any vinification to optimize the performance of the selected yeast strain.
  • Enhancing varietal expression in white, rosé, and red wines.

HOW TO USE ACTIMAX FLOW IN THE WINERY

Recommended dosage: 20–30 g/hL

Preparation: Dissolve in 10 times its weight in water or must.

Application:

  1. Add to yeast rehydration water.
  2. Add to the tank before the start of alcoholic fermentation.
  3. Mix thoroughly.

Use on the same day of preparation.
