October 14, 2024. Next November, Grupo Agrovin, a La Mancha-based company specializing in winemaking solutions, will attend the 30th edition of SIMEI to present Ultrawine Perseo, the revolutionary winemaking system that improves wine quality through ultrasound, to the international public.
The equipment, which has an international patent, has already been recognized with the Innovation Award by the DO La Mancha and has the approval of the International Organization of Vine and Wine.
Its presentation at SIMEI, the largest international exhibition of winemaking equipment and machinery, is a further step in the global recognition of this technology, which is already setting the path toward the future of wine production. In fact, Grupo Agrovin’s participation in this edition of the International Oenology and Bottling Machinery Show will be focused on promoting the potential of ultrasound in the wine industry.
Thus, Ultrawine Perseo will be the protagonist technology of the stand that Grupo Agrovin will have at SIMEI, while on Thursday, November 14 at 12h, the lecture “Ultrasound in oenology, innovative technique in winemaking” will be offered. The talk, which will be available in Spanish, English, and Italian, will be given by three experts in the sector:
- Encarna Gómez, a professor of food technology at the University of Murcia, will explain the research on the application of ultrasound in winemaking.
- Álvaro Maestro, technical director of Bodega Emilio Moro, will bring his experience in optimizing red wines through ultrasound at an industrial level in the winery.
- Federico Casassa, Professor of Oenology and Wine Sensory Analysis at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, will share the results of ultrasound trials conducted on three red vintages for pyrazine reduction.
The 30th edition of SIMEI will be held from November 12 to 15, 2024 at the Milan fairgrounds. Grupo Agrovin’s stand will be located in Hall 3, stand A11-B12.
