SIMEI 2024

This November, Grupo Agrovin will be present at the 30th edition of SIMEI, the largest international exhibition of equipment and machinery for winemaking.

In recent years, the International Oenology and Bottling Machinery Show has become one of the main events where the latest developments in the oenological sector are discovered.

From Grupo Agrovin, we will present firsthand our Ultrawine Perseo equipment, a system that improves wine quality and optimizes the winemaking process through ultrasound.

This will be the central theme of our stand at SIMEI (Hall 3 – A11 B12): to showcase the potential of ultrasound in the wine industry.

In addition, on Thursday, November 14, you will be able to enjoy a talk we are organizing at 12 noon on “Ultrasound in oenology, an innovative technique in winemaking.”

Three industry experts will give the presentation and will be available in Spanish, English and Italian.

• Encarna Gómez, a professor of food technology at the University of Murcia, will review all the research on the application of ultrasound in winemaking.
• Álvaro Maestro, technical director of Bodega Emilio Moro, will talk about experiences with red wines and ultrasound at the industrial level in the winery.
• Federico Casassa, Professor of Oenology and Wine Sensory Analysis at California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo, will explain how ultrasound trials have been conducted on three red vintages for pyrazine reduction.

We are sure it will be a great meeting, during which you will be able to share unique experiences with other professionals in the winemaking sector and keep up to date with the latest industry proposals.
