“New tools for the management and control of fermentation”
A technical conference was held on 29 March at Venta Moncalvillo (in La Rioja) (www.ventamoncalvillo.com) as part of our “From oenologist to oenologist…” philosophy. Around 60 people attended various technical talks, lectures and wine tasting sessions throughout the day.
Our colleague from the AGROVIN technical department, Luis Cotanda, gave the keynote speech with a technical presentation where he talked about “New tools for the management and control of fermentation”.
This was followed by a wine tasting session of various rosé wines from the Provence region led by Thierry Canavese, oenologist and general manager of the Cellier Marius Caius de Pourrières winery (www.cellier-marius-caius.fr).
This in turn, was followed by a wine tasting session of red wines from Vallpolicella, led by Daniele Accordini, technical manager of Cantina Negrar (www.cantinanegrar.it)
