Dosing at bottling

The bottling process is a crucial stage in winemaking, as it is the last moment in which the winemaker can act on the wine. The bottled wine must be stable over time, for which it will be necessary to apply colloidal protectors. The application of these oenological solutions is a critical phase, as they must be applied accurately and homogenized correctly to ensure total stabilization of all bottles.

In order to solve this problem, Agrovin has developed our Agatha PRO dosing equipment for maximum safety and reliability.

It is a state-of-the-art equipment for accurate in-line dosing of liquid solutions. Dosing is done through high precision electromechanical piston pumps, with stainless steel body, resistant to corrosion. The metering pumps have a double regulation (mechanical and electronic) to ensure greater precision.

The mobile structure, on which the equipment is supported, allows its easy incorporation/inclusion in the bottling line arranged in the winery. Depending on the nature of the product to be dosed, the equipment will be placed before or after the microfiltration. The equipment has a touch screen through which the user will proceed to its programming in an intuitive way, thanks to its software specifically designed for this function.

AGATHA PRO is equipped with flow sensors to ensure a precise and homogeneous dosage of the product to be added. It has an audible and luminous alarm in case of lack of flow due to lack of product.

The equipment can be interlocked to the bottling line to work synergistically and stop the line if there is any anomaly in the addition of product, thus guaranteeing efficient dosing. AGATHA PRO is equipped with a flowmeter pipe that connects to the cellar line. Depending on the wine flow rate reading, the equipment adjusts the addition of product. Dosing starts when the system detects flow and stops when there is no wine movement. By means of an audible alarm system, the user will know immediately if the product to be dosed has run out.
