July 11, 2024. – AGROVIN, a company specializing in oenological solutions and applications, has received the SME of the Year Award in Ciudad Real during an event organized by Banco Santander and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Ciudad Real Chamber of Commerce. The award was collected by Germán León, CEO of Grupo Agrovin, who was accompanied by Macario Vaquero, CFO of Grupo Agrovin.
This recognition has been awarded to Agrovin for its outstanding performance over the last year in areas such as job creation (with special emphasis on permanent employment), training initiatives for its employees, internationalization efforts that have led to increased exports, the opening of new markets and the export of new products, its role as a company committed to innovation and digitalization, and its participation in socially responsible projects.
“These are achievements of which we are particularly proud, as they are rooted in our values of development, innovation, and technological advancement,” said Agrovin’s management.
In recent years, Agrovin has gradually increased its workforce, currently reaching a total of 150 employees, 15% of whom are international. It is also worth noting the high level of specialization and qualification of these professionals, who are distributed between the headquarters in Alcázar de San Juan and its national and international offices. This specialization is nurtured internally through constant training, which enables Agrovin’s teams to provide their customers with reliable and up-to-date technical advice.
The international expansion of the company, which has offices in Spain, France, Italy, Romania, and the United States, has led it to currently have a presence in more than 20 countries. This development has also been facilitated by its special involvement in the field of oenological innovation, thanks to which Agrovin has patented numerous technological advances that have transformed the way the sector works in recent years. This work is complemented by participation in various collaborative projects with universities and institutions, with whom it carries out projects aimed at continuing to improve and transform the world of oenology.
The jury for the Ciudad Real SME of the Year Award was made up of Mr. Sergio Rodríguez (representative of the Banco Santander Regional Delegation), Mr. Juan Miguel Cuellar (representative of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce), Mr. Diego Murillo (representative of the newspaper La Tribuna de Ciudad Real), Mr. José Luis Ruiz Heras, and Mr. Luis Enrique Rodríguez (representatives of the Ciudad Real Chamber of Commerce).
