11th CONFERENCE ON ADVANCES IN OENOLOGICAL TECHNIQUES

11TH Conference on advances in oenological techniques

For the eleventh time, the lecturers of the Oenology degree at the Technical Faculty of Agricultural Engineering of the University of Valladolid (ETSIIAA) organised the 11th Conference on Advances in Oenological Techniques which took place on 3 May at this faculty in Palencia.

The aim of this conference was to share all the technological and biotechnological innovations of the wine sector which are of great interest at present and will be in the future.

AGROVIN participated in this event with a technical talk by Ricardo Jurado, AGROVIN’S technical manager. On this occasion the topic discussed was the control of dissolved gases in bottled wines by means of membrane contactors. He presented the Oxi_Out equipment, whose technology allows an efficient control of O2 and CO2 when compared to the traditional treatments carried out in wineries.
