d&#8217;\u00e9liminer d&#8217;autres cations tels que Ca2+, Fe2+, Fe3+, Cu+, Cu2+, Cu2+, am\u00e9liorant ainsi la stabilit\u00e9 du vin. L&#8217;\u00e9change a lieu entre les cations m\u00e9talliques et les ions hydrog\u00e8ne des groupes fonctionnels, et cet \u00e9change a un effet direct sur le pH et le potentiel redox du vin.<\/p><p>Le traitement par r\u00e9sine est suivi d&#8217;une r\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de la r\u00e9sine. Apr\u00e8s le passage du vin, un lavage avec une solution acide de HCl permet aux centres actifs de r\u00e9cup\u00e9rer le H+ \u00e9chang\u00e9 avec le vin, la dur\u00e9e de vie de la r\u00e9sine satur\u00e9e de sels, l&#8217;ion potassium (K+) \u00e9tant le principal responsable de leur pr\u00e9cipitation. Par cons\u00e9quent, le remplacement des cations m\u00e9talliques par des protons entra\u00eene une augmentation de l&#8217;acidit\u00e9 totale et une diminution du pH.
